third grade algebra lesson

Our latest lessons are designed to help algebraic thinking come alive for elementary students. Through interactive activities using musical penguins, colorful blocks, bouncing balls, and in-out machines, students in grades K-5 are introduced to key concepts such as patterns, relationships, functions, equations and inequalities.

Lessons are fast-paced and game-like and include specific feedback. Students who struggle are shown detailed explanations, including rich animations and audio, in a fun, non-threatening way.

Our new adaptive instruction logic helps ensure that students in need of more support continue to get more practice exercises, while students that do not are able to move on to higher level concepts.

Here are some of the key learning objectives that these algebra lessons cover:

• to create, describe, extend, and explain symbolic (geometric) and numeric patterns
• to express mathematical relationships using equations
• to solve equations or find the missing number using related facts
• to use pictures, models, tables, number sentences and mathematical notations to interpret mathematical relationships
• to apply the appropriate function rule to complete a chart
• to determine how a change in one variable relates to a change in a second variable (e.g., input-output tables)
• to model problem situations with objects and use representations such as graphs, tables, and equations to draw conclusions

Looks good. I am going to try and use your site with a 21CCLC grant for 100 K-5 students. What would be the cost for two years of online curriculum service?
